Oh Libby

If only there was a way to have "smell-o-vision" on this blog! Mark took the girls for a late night walk today, and apparently Libby learned one of life's more pungent lessons; don't mess with skunks!
Our loving, "everyone is my best friend" puppy dog is now best friend's with the stomach turning smell of a skunk's emptied scent gland. Oh yeah, it's going to be one of those weeks.
Luckily I found a recipe online for the removal of the offensive odor:

1 qt. 3% Peroxide
1/4 cup of Baking Soda
1-2 Tsp. of liquid soap.

Hopefully this will do the trick and Libby will no longer be banished to the garage. Poor Mark called a little while ago (I'm at work luckily) and is washing her right now. Good Luck Honey!

Update on Libby:
The peroxide and baking soda worked like a charm (after about 6 washes). She still has a little bit of the skunk left on her, but according to Mark it is no where near as bad as it was.
