I was able to bring Meredith up to NJ last weekend, and we both survived the trip. She was AWESOME on the plane (both trips) and people even commented to me about how well behaved she was! Thanks to a few blogs and advice, I was able to make the trip with very little worries.
While we were in NJ, Grandma and Nono Rick put together a great party so that she could meet everyone. Uncle Chris and Isabel even extended their stay just to meet her! It was a great time, and we got to eat some REALLY good food. Sausage with peppers and onions, ribs, potato salad, chicken wings, beans, you get the picture!
It was a short trip, but oh so much fun! We also got to visit Grandpa and Grandma Susan while we were there, and thanks to some beautiful weather, Meredith took a nap on their front porch!
